  • Oklahoma's 85-74 win over No. 14 Texas established the first time the Sooners have defeated a ranked Longhorns team under Head Coach Sherri Coale.
  • Tonight's victory marks the third top 25 team the Sooners have defeated this season. Oklahoma has racked up victories against Southwest Missouri State (No. 13) and Stanford (No. 17) previously this season. All three victories have come inside the Lloyd Noble Center. The win improved the Sooners' home record to 5-2 versus nationally-ranked opponents over the last two years.
  • With a career-high eight steals in the game, junior guard LaNeishea Caufield moved into second place on the Sooners' all-time steals list with 234 total career steals.
  • Caufield's 14-point performance marks the 13th time in 14 games that she has scored in double figures.
  • Junior center Jen Cunningham turned in a career-best performance tonight scoring a career-high 18 points. Her previous career-high performance was 13 points set back in 1998 versus TCU.
  • Sophomore forward Caton Hill registered her sixth double-double performance of the season, and 12th of her career, with 17 points and 12 boards. It marks the fifth time (in as many games) that Hill has accomplished the feat against Texas.
  • Junior guard Stacey Dales sank three free throws to tie former Sooner Jo Mosley (1986-89) for No. 15 on the all-time free throws made list with 177 for her career.
