Openings Available For Tip In Club Golf Classic

NORMAN, Okla. - The OU men's basketball coaching staff invites Sooner fans to join the fun at the 11th Annual Tip In Club Golf Classic and Dinner Party on Friday, Aug. 18 in Norman. Golf will be held at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Course while dinner will be served in the Memorial Stadium's Santee Lounge at 7 p.m. An 11:30 a.m. lunch will also be served at the golf course.

The $150 all-encompassing fee includes:

  • Greens fee and cart
  • Lunch at the golf course
  • Two tickets for dinner
  • Long drive and closest-to-the-hole contests
  • Team picture with Coach Kelvin Sampson
  • Door prizes (at dinner)
  • Golf shirt
  • Beverages on the course
  • Awards for top two teams

    Only spots for the morning golf round, which will begin at 7:30, are still available. Interested fans should contact Linda Smith at (405) 325-8460. Deadline for reservations is Friday, July 28.

    Fans interested in dinner only can make reservations for $30 per couple.
