Spartans Sweep Sooners At Wildcat Classic

EVANSTON, Ill. - The University of Oklahoma volleyball team was defeated, 8-15, 14-16, 4-15, by San Jose State inside Welsh-Ryan Arena at the Wildcat Classic in Evanston, Ill., Friday evening. The loss dropped OU to 5-3 on the season, while the Spartans improved to 9-1.

Earlier today, the Sooners defeated West Virginia, 15-3, 15-3, 15-12. OU was led by Chantae Weathers' seven kills and career-high five solo blocks.

Oklahoma will play in two more matches in the Wildcat Classic on Saturday. The Sooners' first match is slated for 2:30 p.m. against LSU while their second one is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. versus host Northwestern.
