Started at 141 pounds in his first year at Oklahoma … Finished with a 22-6 overall record, including seven wins over top-25 opponents … Compiled a 14-2 dual record, including a 6-1 record in Big 12 duals … Qualified for the NCAA Championships for the thirdĀ time as the No. 8 seedĀ and advanced to the Round of 16 after toppling Casey Swiderski (Iowa State) 4-1 in his first round match, but fell just short to Allan Hart (Mizzou) via RT in TB-2 of his quarterfinal bout before falling in the second round of the 141-pound consolations … Became Oklahoma's highest-seeded wrestler at the Big 12 Championships, earning the No. 2 at 141 pounds in his third appearance and finished in sixth place … Dominated the entire 141-pound bout at the Missouri dual to earn his third straight top-15 win and 10th straight win … Advanced to the 141-pound championship in the Michigan State Open with his first pin of the season and a decision win in his Oklahoma debut.

Automatically qualified for the NCAA Championship as a sophomore with his fourth place finish at the Big 12 Championships … Went 6-6Ā on the year … Recorded a fall against Brandon Paulson of California Baptist (3:26) … 2021 NWCA Scholar All-American … 2021 Academic All-Big 12 First Team.

2019-20 (At Northern Colorado)Ā 
Automatically qualified for the NCAA Championships as a freshman after placing second at the Big 12 ChampionshipsĀ at 133 lbs. He was slated as the No. 15 seed at the NCAAs … Finished the season with a 23-10 record, going 6-5 in dual matches … Placed fifth at the Cliff Keen Invitational … Placed seventh at the Southern Scuffle ... Defeated nine ranked wrestlers this season … Won the 133 lbs championship at the Northern Colorado Open … Recorded three falls and two tech falls during the season … Earned an All-American honorable mention from the NWCA ... Won the Northern Colorado Rookie of the Year.
