Wrestled at 165 pounds … Finished his redshirt junior campaign with a 22-10 record, including a 10-5 mark in dual competition … NCAA Championships qualifier … Downed WVU's Connor Flynn, 5-0, to take third at the 2016 Big 12 Championship and aid the Sooners to a second-place finish as a team … Named to the Division I NWCA All-Academic Team … Named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team for the third consecutive year … Earned the Warrior Award and the Sooner Student-Athlete Award at the annual spring banquet … Posted five major decision wins on the season … Finished in fourth place in his division at the Cliff Keen Invitational … Wrestled in the 165-pound bout at the 2015 NWCA All-Star Classic (lost 9-2 to NC State's Max Rohskopf).
AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2014-15):
