Nolan was a three-year starter at Norman North HS. Team captain. 2011 OCA Oklahoma All-star team, and was a second-team All-State pick. He was named All-Big City, All- Conference, All-District. Also competes in Olympic style weightlifting where he won Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas state titles ... Nolan placed seventh in the nation in the 2010 Junior Olympic nationals, earning a 2011 Junior Worlds bid ... Nolan was also a track and field athlete, where holds the school record in the discus ... he was a conference, and district champion in 2009.
