OU Athletics and the Lloyd Noble Center open their doors for an educational day complete with hands on exposure to Division 1 women's basketball and to one of the to-ranked universities in the country! Show your students how to be fans this year by attending the Oklahoma women's basketball Field Trip Day!

Students and chaperons receive FREE tickets* to the Oklahoma women's basketball game to visit the campus and be exposed and encouraged to set goals to pursue higher education.

In addition to the excitement of an OU women's basketball game, your students will be engaged throughout the game with some of the most entertaining and educational programs the University of Oklahoma has to offer!Ā 

* Tickets are subject to availability. Transportation is not provided.
** Schools are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Due to the growing success of Field Trip Day, we anticipate a capacity crowd for this year's event. The registration deadline is November 1st. If capacity is filled prior to that date, registration will close early.

  • Pregame: Learn cheers from Oklahoma Cheer and Pom

  • In game: Cheer on head coach Jennie Baranczyk and the Oklahoma women's basketball team at the Lloyd Noble Center! Complete with fun, interactive, and custom made experiences including games and contests during time outs to get your students excited about learning!

School Info
  • Arrival and Dismissal Times

    As the event approaches, each school will receive an email with the time frame they should arrive at the Lloyd Noble Center.Ā This allows schools to get into the arena in the most timely manner. When the game is over, each school will be dismissed by OU Athletics Staff.Ā PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE WHEN THE GAME IS OVER.The buses are being staged in a pre-determined order to ensure each school is able to leave as quickly as possible.
  • Check In
    OU Athletics will check in schools.Ā You will receive more information on your designated check in area and time as the event approaches.
  • Directions
    As gameday approaches, each school will receive a map that shows the easiest way to navigate to the Lloyd Noble Center on gameday.
  • Lunch/Food
    Students can bring their lunch, and the concession stands will be open!
  • Nametags
    Each school will be issued a nametag. Once you register, each school will be asked to provide the student's first name, last initial, chaperone and chaperone phone #.
  • Parking
    Parking for buses will be FREE and there will be a map to direct buses to their designated areas. For anyone who drives separately, there will be event parking available in designated areas.
  • Restrooms
    There are restrooms located around the main concourse of the Lloyd Noble Center.Ā When you check in, you will receive a packet that has a detailed map of where each restroom is located.
  • Seating Map/Seat Location
    Each school will have assigned seating/Ā The information will be sent out to each school as the event approaches along with a map of the arena.
  • Tickets
    Admission subject to availability.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • What if I don't know exactly how many people are coming?

    Please put your best estimate.Ā We appreciate you being as precise as possible but understand it is difficult to be exact so far in advance.Ā You will have opportunities as the game draws closer to provide us with your exact number.
  • Who should be the contact for the school?
    The contact for the school will receive important information from OU Athletics related to the event on a regular basis.Ā Due to this, we recommend the contact be a full time employee at the school (IE: a school counselor, vice principal, dean of students, ect)
  • What if I need to change the number after I have submitted?
    Please emailĀ sjkc@ou.eduĀ with your school name and how many people will be attending.
    * Please be aware that registration and final number submission for your school will be due no later than two weeks prior to the game date to allow for OU Athletics Staff to prepare seating for all our schools attending the game.
  • How will students and chaperones get tickets?
    There will not be tickets for the event. Prior to the event, schools will receive a nametag for each student and chaperone which will serve as their ticket.
  • What if parents want to attend, but not as chaperones?
    This is a free event for everyone so they will not need to purchase a ticket. However, parents may not sit with the schools. They should enter through the upper east entrance.Ā 
  • Where do students put their lunch?
    Students can bring their lunch into the Lloyd Noble Center on gameday. Large coolers and ice chests ARE NOT PERMITTED into the building. It is best to have each student carry their own lunch if possible.
  • Can we buy lunch at the game?
    The concession stands will be open and special offers are available for the game!
  • Do we have to pay for parking for our bus(es)?
    There will be areas for buses to park FREE of charge.Ā You will receive information from OU Athletics as the event approaches with details.
  • How much does this event cost?
    This is a FREE event for all schools that register online.Ā The only cost to schools is securing the bus(es) they travel on.
  • What happens if I lose something?
    If an item is lost, it will be taken to one of our Guest Services Kiosks located around the main concourse. If you realize after the game you have left something, you can emailĀ sjkc@ou.eduĀ to see if it has been turned in.
