Estep is the first OU freshman since Jordan Bowers in 2022 to earn a 10.0 on any event and the first freshman to earn a perfect 10 in 2026. Estep is only the third athlete this season to earn a 10.0 on vault and earned the first perfect score of the year for the Sooners.
Along with Estep's vault title, Addison Fatta won the all-around with a 39.675 and floor with a 9.975.
OU's bookend events, vault and floor, were the highlights of the meet as the Sooners earned a season high 49.725 on vault and season high 49.750 on floor. Both marks are the highest in the nation on the events this season. The only other program to record a 49.700 or higher on any event is UCLA with a 49.700 on floor.
The Sooners opened the meet with their third-highest mark in program history with four stuck vaults. While Estep recorded a career high with her perfect mark, Fatta matched her career high score from Friday night with a 9.975 on a stuck Yurchenko 1.5 in the anchor spot. Elle Mueller and Keira Wells each stuck their 1.5s for 9.95s.
Elizabeth Blessey's handspring pike half earned her a 9.85 in the leadoff spot. Back in the vault lineup for the first time since Jan. 16, Faith Torrez notched a 9.825.
OU posted a 49.200 in the second rotation for a 98.975 at the halfway point. Torrez stuck her double layout dismount for a 9.90 in the No. 5 spot, the lone score of 9.9 or higher in the rotation. After a leadoff 9.775 from Lily Pederson, the Sooners recorded three 9.825s from Ella Murphy, Hannah Scheible and Fatta. Estep anchored with a 9.875.
A 49.450 on beam had the Sooners at a 148.425 after three rotations, .400 tenths ahead of second place Arkansas. Fatta started the third rotation with a strong routine and a stuck dismount for a 9.90, followed by a 9.875 from Wells. Murphy's poise and elegance were on display as the freshman earned a 9.90 in the No. 3 spot. Pederson added a 9.70 in the No. 4 spot and Mueller followed with a stuck dismount for a career best 9.850. In the anchor spot, Torrez added her sixth consecutive mark of 9.90 or higher with a 9.925.
A big 49.750 in the final rotation helped the Sooners to their second mark of 198-plus on the weekend. Fatta recorded her second near-perfect score of the night with a career best 9.975 in the No. 5 spot. Pederson started floor off strong with a 9.90 and Murphy turned in a 9.925 in the No. 2 spot. Estep rebounded from a hiccup on Friday with a career best 9.95 in the No. 3 spot. Mueller's intense choreography paired with strong tumbling earned the sophomore a career high 9.95. Anchoring for the first time this season, Kamila Pawlak tied her career best with a 9.95.
A top-five matchup is on deck for the Sooners as they head to No. 5 Florida on Friday, Feb. 13. The meet will air on ESPN2 at 5:45 p.m. CT.
