SAN MARCOS, Texas — No. 19 Oklahoma Soccer (6-0-1) played to a 1-1 draw at Texas State (3-1-2) Thursday, Sept. 4, with
Hadley Murrell scoring OU's goal on a penalty kick in the 23rd minute.
The Sooners are undefeated through seven matches, OU's longest such stretch to start a season in program history.

Kayla Keefer tallied a pair of shots early on and Murrell put up another before the Sooners broke through in the 23rd minute. Keefer was fouled in the box on a cross, setting up Murrell for her penalty kick goal.
Texas State scored its only goal in the 30th minute. An initial Bobcats shot was saved by
Caroline Duffy, who popped the ball off the crossbar with her save. While attempting to grab the ball on the rebound it crossed the goal line for the equalizer.
The Sooners won the possession game in the second half, putting up seven shots to just two for Texas State. Keefer and
Juliette Rayo had solid looks on the striking third of the field and OU had three corner kick chances, but Texas State was able to hold off OU's push.
