Keefer stayed involved, playing a ball well in front of Murrell who tracked it down and beat the Omaha backline and goalie for a 3-0 lead in the 12th minute. Keefer and Clark teamed up on a give-and-go in the box before Keefer found the back of the net in the 26th minute.
OU added one more as
Luciana Setteducate was taken down in the box in the 83rd minute. Morrin converted the penalty kick, completing OU's scoring. Omaha's lone shot on goal all match resulted in a goal. The Mavericks' goal came on a Isabelle Mine header off a corner kick.
