NORMAN — Oklahoma Soccer (2-0) scored in the first minute and later broke a 1-1 tie with three unanswered goals to knock off No. 22 Oklahoma State (1-1), 4-1, Sunday, August 17 at John Crain Field.
Naomi Clark headlined the scoring once again, putting up a brace for the second time in as many games.
Ashley Tutas chimed in with an insurance goal for her first score as a Sooner, bringing Oklahoma to its first ranked win since the 2022 season.
OU outshot Oklahoma State, 18-6, while goalkeeper
Caroline Duffy logged another 90 minutes while making four saves. Senior

The Sooners took the lead in the first minute, benefiting from an own goal on a cross from
Michelle Pak played into the box.
OSU got the equalizer in the 10th minute when Xcaret Pineda found the back of the net on a set piece from just outside the box.
Both teams traded chances until the Sooners broke through the OSU backline on a free kick played into the box by Duffy.
Luciana Setteducate headed the pass towards goal where Clark gathered it and scored for the lead.
A similar sequence brought OU to a 3-1 lead in the 42nd minute.
Michelle Pak hooked a free kick that
Ally Laccinole headed on frame. Tutas took the opportunity to gather the ball and score.
After over 37 scoreless minutes, Clark got loose to score the fourth goal of the night after being set up by a beautiful pass from
Lexi Dendis through the backline.
