Nelly McEnroe-Marinas homered for the fourth time in six games and the Sooners got four solid innings from
Kierston Deal out of the bullpen, but No. 1 Oklahoma Softball (28-1, 7-1 SEC) dropped its first decision of the season, 3-1, at Missouri (18-14, 1-4 SEC) Saturday, March 22.
Oklahoma's season-opening winning streak ended at 28 games for the year and 31 games by including last season. The Sooners outscored opponents 245 to 60 through 28 games, while starting Southeastern Conference play 7-0.

McEnroe-Marinas and
Gabbie Garcia reached base to start the first, but Missouri escaped unscathed and generated two runs in the first inning on a home run, single and RBI double. Missouri completed its scoring with a Taylor Ebbs solo home run in third, but Deal settled in to retire 12 of the next 16 to keep OU within three.
McEnroe-Marinas started the seventh with a bang, homering on the first pitch of the frame to get the Sooners on the board.
Cydney Sanders walked, but Missouri's Taylor Pannell worked around it to earn the save.
