• OU has won five straight and the last three by 50+ points, marking the first time in program history with three consecutive wins by 50 or more. The Sooners have scored 100 points in back-to-back games for the first time since November 2014, and their 212 points over the last two contests are the second most in any two-game span in school history. A win Sunday would secure OU's eighth six-game winning streak in the last five seasons. Last year, the Sooners opened 6-0 and later reeled off streaks of six and nine straight, the latter tied for the program's longest since 2008-09.
• Friday's win over Coppin State brought Jennie Baranczyk to 299 career victories. A win over Florida State would make her the eighth active SEC head coach to reach 300 and she would do it faster than all but two in the conference – LSU's Kim Mulkey and Kentucky's Kenny Brooks – hitting the milestone in just 431 games.
• OU fell one spot to No. 9 in this week's AP Top 25 after its lone game last week – a 53-point win over East Texas A&M on Nov. 19. The Sooners have now appeared in four straight AP polls inside the top 10 for the second consecutive season and own a 33-week run in the AP Top 25, the fourth-longest streak in program history. OU also checked in at No. 8 in the WBCA Coaches Poll.
• The Sooners lead the country in rebounding (52.43 RPG) and pull down a nation-high 35.9 defensive boards per game. OU has grabbed 50+ rebounds in four straight games and a nation-best five times this season, including 65 vs. East Texas A&M and 61 vs. Belmont. The Sooners' +16.9 rebounding margin ranks fourth in the NCAA. OU's defense fuels its rebounding edge. The Sooners hold opponents to 29.9% shooting this season – third best in the country – while also blocking 6.0 shots per game (14th NCAA) and forcing more than 12.5 steals per game.
• Oklahoma and Florida State have never met. OU is 28-28 all-time against ACC teams and 4-3 versus the league under Baranczyk. Overall, OU is 8-10 in the state of Florida and 2-2 in the state during the Baranczyk era. The Sooners went 0-2 at the 2023 Fort Myers Tip-Off with losses to Princeton and Tennessee.
The Sooners return home for the entire month of December. OU plays five games in December, starting with a Dec. 3 matchup against No. 25 NC State at Lloyd Noble Center on ESPN2 at 6 p.m.
