POSTGAME NOTES
• No. 8 Oklahoma extended its winning streak to four on Wednesday at Lloyd Noble Center, defeating East Texas A&M, 112-59, in Norman.
• Oklahoma saw three players — Raegan Beers, Payton Verhulst and Sahara Williams — record double-doubles in the win, the program's first trio to do so since Nov. 30, 2022, when Aubrey Joens, Skylar Vann and Madi Williams did so against Northwestern State. It marks just the eighth time in OU history that three different Sooners have posted a double-double in the same game.
• Oklahoma's 112 points rank as the 10th-highest single-game total in program history and the second most under fifth-year head coach Jennie Baranczyk. The Sooners knocked down 45 field goals and handed out 32 assists — tied for the second most in the Baranczyk era and matching OU's highest assist total in regulation (OU had 32 vs. Duke last season in regulation and added one more in overtime). OU has scored 100+ 13 times under Baranczyk.
• Oklahoma's four-game winning streak is the 19th of the Baranczyk era, now in its fifth year. The Sooners have opened 5-1 or 6-0 in every season under Baranczyk — the program's longest run of 5-1 or 6-0 starts since a six-year stretch from 1982-87 under Maura McHugh.
• The Sooners have now won 13 straight non-conference home games and are 30-3 in non-conference home games since 2021. OU's home winning streak now stands at eight.
• Wednesday's game capped a five-game, 10-day stretch that sent the Sooners more than 5,000 miles. OU went 4-1 during the run, with the lone loss coming at No. 3 UCLA, and each of the four wins came by at least 25 points.
• Raegan Beers recorded her 49th career double-double, delivering 23 points on 11 of 14 shooting with 10 rebounds and a block. She leads the nation with four 20-point double-doubles this season, and her 24 career 20-point double-doubles are the most among all active players.
• Sahara Williams collected her fifth career double-double with a season-high 22 points on 8 of 9 shooting, adding 11 rebounds and four assists. The junior forward is one of only four SEC players averaging a double-double this season, producing 12.2 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.
• Payton Verhulst tallied her first double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds, adding five assists and three steals in a complete performance. The fifth-year guard scored 11 points in the first quarter, tied for the most by any Sooner in a single frame this season.
• Oklahoma shot 53.6% from the field and hit nine 3-pointers in the win, while limiting East Texas A&M to just 25.7% shooting. The Sooners dominated the glass with a 65-29 rebounding advantage and have now recorded 50 boards a nation-leading four times this season.
• OU piled up 18 steals while forcing 20 East Texas A&M turnovers. Caya Smith led the defensive surge with five takeaways, and Aaliyah Chavez, Zya Vann and Payton Verhulst each added three.
