TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Oklahoma Soccer (9-3-1, 2-3 SEC) broke a 1-1 tie with two second half scores as the Sooners earned a critical 3-1 road win at Alabama (8-4-1, 2-3 SEC) Thursday, Oct. 2.

Kayla Keefer put the Sooners on top when
Elle Canty played a long ball forward off a free kick, setting up Keefer as she poked the ball past the Alabama keeper. The Crimson Tide got even on a penalty kick 10 minutes later.
Coming out of the break, tied 1-1, the Sooners applied pressure early and kept that pace going the rest of the way. OU broke free off the second consecutive corner kick attempt from
Lexi Dendis, who set up a leaping
Ally Laccinole for a header goal.
Caroline Duffy made consecutive key saves and the Sooners added an own goal in the 85th minute from a
Kayla Keefer cross played back on frame.
