Sooners Set for Bedlam on Saturday

NORMAN – RV/RV Oklahoma hosts Oklahoma State on Saturday, Feb. 10. Tip is at 6:01 p.m. CT inside Lloyd Noble Center. The Big 12 conference contest will air on the Sooner Sports Radio Network (KRXO 107.7 FM The Franchise in Oklahoma City; KTBZ 1430 AM in Tulsa; Varsity Radio App) with Toby Rowland and Kevin Henry announcing and be broadcast by ESPN+ with Mark Neely (PxP) and King McClure (analyst) on the call.

• University of Oklahoma students can attend all 2023-24 men's basketball games for free. Students need to show their ID at the lower north entrance at Lloyd Noble Center.• Fans are encouraged to wear crimson.
OPENING TIP
• Oklahoma is ranked 26th (games through 2/8) overall and sixth in the Big 12 in the NET. Ten Big 12 teams are in the top 40. Oklahoma State is 138th overall and 13th in the conference.• Junior Javian McCollum ranks seventh among active career leaders in free throw percentage (89.3%). In 74 career games, McCollum has made 201 free throws in 225 attempts. Senior Sam Godwin is 10th among NCAA DI active career leaders in field goal percentage, making 64.3% (249-387) of his shots.
• Against No. 21 BYU, McCollum recorded a team-high 20 points, marking his fourth 20-plus point performance this season.
• Junior Jalon Moore tallied his second double-double of the season at UCF, finishing with 10 points and 11 rebounds. The 11 boards matched his career high set early this season at Kansas.
• Moore scored a career-high 23 points and added nine rebounds in OU's 73-53 victory at K-State. McCollum tallied 21 points in the Sooners' second Big 12 road victory.
LAST TIME OUT
• Oklahoma improved to 5-5 in Big 12 play with its 82-66 victory against BYU on Tuesday at Lloyd Noble Center. Junior Javian McCollum paced the Sooners with 20 points, including 15 in the second half. Sophomore Milos Uzan added 16 points on 6-for-12 shooting, five rebounds and four assists. Senior Rivaldo Soares tallied 12 points and six boards in 24-plus minutes off the bench. Junior Jalon Moore finished with 11 points and six rebounds.• Despite being down six with six minutes left in the first half, Oklahoma entered the break tied at 34-all after a Uzan layup in the final seconds. BYU raced out to a five-point advantage within the first five minutes of the second frame before a 3-pointer by Soares and a pair of free throws by Moore sparked the OU offense.
• The Sooners shot 49.0% (25-51) from the field, 34.6% (9-26) from deep and 79.3% (23-29) from the free throw line. BYU entered the contest averaging 12 made 3-pointers per outing but was limited to eight.

Oklahoma holds a 76-27 record at Lloyd Noble Center since 2017. The Sooners have won 82.9% (609-127) of their games at LNC since the building opened in 1975. OU's winning percentage at Lloyd Noble Center is second in the Big 12 only to Kansas' 87.9% at Allen Fieldhouse (852-117).RANKING SUMMARY (2/9)

Oklahoma has not allowed 10 made 3-pointers in 44 consecutive games. The last opponent to accomplish the task was Central Arkansas (11 for 34) on Dec. 17, 2022. Oklahoma earned its 11th victory by 16-plus points this season when it topped BYU 82-66 on Tuesday, Feb. 6. The 2023-24 squad is the first team to record 11 such victories since 2014-15.
