THE STARTING FIVE
- Sunday marks Jennie Baranczyk's 400th game as a head coach. Over 13 seasons (four at OU), she has won five conference titles, made nine consecutive postseason appearances and holds a 273-123 overall record, including an 84-27 mark at Oklahoma. In Norman, she has coached four players to five All-America honors and is a three-time national coach of the year finalist.
- Oklahoma's home winning streak stands at 14 games entering Sunday, the 10th-longest active streak in the nation and the longest of the Baranczyk era. The Sooners' last loss in Norman came on Dec. 22, 2023. The streak is the program's longest since a 15-game run from Feb. 19, 2014, to Feb. 25, 2015, and a win on Sunday would move it into a tie with that streak for the fourth-longest in Oklahoma history.
- This season marks Oklahoma's 50th at Lloyd Noble Center, where the Sooners got their first home win on Jan. 31, 1976, with a 44-38 win over East Central (Okla.). Since that debut, the Sooners have amassed a 466-173 (.727) record at the LNC, welcoming over 1.95 million fans through its doors. The program set a historic milestone by winning 26 consecutive games at the arena from 1984 to 1986.
- Oklahoma is the No. 10 team in the AP Poll and the Sooners have been ranked in the top 15 all season, rising to No. 8 in the Nov. 25 poll. The Sooners checked in at No. 10 in the WBCA Coaches Poll on Dec. 17.
- Oklahoma is one of three schools nationally (Duke and UConn) to boasts both men's and women's teams ranked in the top 15. The teams' 21-1 combined record is second only to Tennessee's 21-0 mark.
