Big 12 Releases Conference Soccer Schedule

NORMAN — The Big 12 Conference released the 2023 conference schedule Monday morning, with play beginning Sept. 14 and running through Oct. 23.

The Sooners will meet 10 of the 14 member institutions over six weeks in the fall, including matches vs. new conference members UCF, Cincinnati and BYU. The conference will implement a 1-2-2-2-2-1 format where programs will play each other at least once in a two-year time frame.

Oklahoma will start conference play with home matchups vs. the two Sunflower State schools, Kansas (Sept. 14) and Kansas State (Sept. 21).

Sunday, Sept. 24 will be OU's first Big 12 road trip of the season, heading to Houston for a match on Sunday, Sept. 24 before meeting Texas Tech in Lubbock on Thursday, Sept. 28.

The Sooners will host new member UCF on October 1 at John Crain Field prior to a road swing out East to play at West Virginia (Oct. 5) and Cincinnati (Oct. 8).

The Red River Rivalry returns to Norman on Thursday, Oct. 12 before the final home conference match of the fall vs. first-year member BYU on Monday, Oct. 16.

The conference slate closes with Bedlam in Stillwater vs. Oklahoma State on Oct. 23.

The 2023 Sprouts Farmers Market Big 12 Soccer Championship is slated for Oct. 28-Nov. 4 at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex in Round Rock, Texas.

Non-conference play begins on Thursday, August 17. OU's full schedule with non-conference opponents and match times will be announced at a later date.
