Men's Hoops Trio Earn All-Big 12 Honors

NORMAN – Grant Sherfield and Jalen Hill received All-Big 12 Honorable Mention accolades and Milos Uzan was selected to the All-Big 12 Freshman Team as announced by the conference on Sunday.
The trio of Sooners each received their first Big 12 honor.
Sherfield started all 31 games and led the Sooners in points (16.1) and assists (3.3) per contest. The Fort Worth, Texas product added 2.5 rebounds and 0.7 steals per game. Sherfield shot 41.2% (167-405) from the field and a team-high 40.3% (81-201) from deep.
The senior sharpshooter finished first in the Big 12 in 3-pointers made (81), second in 3-pointers per game (2.6) and third in 3-point percentage. Sherfield ranks 38th in NCAA DI in 3-point percentage, 56th in free throw percentage (85.9%), 59th in 3-pointers made and 72nd in 3-pointers per game.
During league play, Sherfield tallied team highs in points (14.1) and assists (2.8) per outing. Sherfield was twice named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week.
Hill averaged 9.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest and started 31 games. The Las Vegas product joined Sherfield as the only two Sooners to average 10-plus points per game during league action. Hill averaged 10.3 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. He shot 50.8% from the field (66-130) and 81.1% from (43-53) from the line.
Hill ranks sixth in the conference in defensive rebounds per game (4.7), 10th in rebounds (181) and 11th in rebounds per game (5.8).
Milos Uzan averaged 7.6 points, 3.0 assists and 2.7 rebounds per contest in his first season in the Crimson and Cream. Uzan appeared in 31 games and made 23 starts, including all 18 Big 12 contests.
During league play, Uzan averaged 9.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists. The Las Vegas product finished second on the team in assists (50) and third in points (171) in league games.
He ranks 12th in the Big 12 in assists (93), assists per game and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.39).
