Sherfield to Participate in 2023 Reese's All-Star Game

HOUSTON – Oklahoma senior guard Grant Sherfield has been selected to participate in the 2023 NABC – Reese's Division I College All-Start Game, as announced by the NABC on Tuesday.

The contest will be held on Friday, March 31 at 3:30 p.m. CT at NRG Stadium and Sherfield will be a member of the West All-Stars. He will also compete in the TaxAct Men's 3-Point Championship on Thursday, March 30 at 6:30 p.m. CT.
 
The Fort Worth, Texas product spent one season with the Crimson and Cream, starting all 32 games and averaging team highs in points (15.9) and assists (3.3) per game. Sherfield was twice named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week and was a 2023 All-Big 12 Honorable Mention honoree. He tallied 11 20-plus point games last season and led the Sooners in multiple categories, including free throws made (88), free throws attempted (102), 3-pointers made (82), 3-pointers attempted (208), minutes played (1078:55) and minutes per game (33.7).
 
Over his four-year collegiate career, Sherfield played in 116 games and made 98 starts. He averaged 15.2 points, 4.6 assists and 3.3 rebounds per outing. Sherfield shot 41.3% (585-1417) from the field and 36.0% (198-550) from deep.
 
Texas A&M coach Buzz Williams will coach the West All-Stars, while newly named Iona coach Tobin Anderson will lead the East All-Stars.
