MANHATTAN, Kan. – Oklahoma men's basketball dropped its final regular season road contest 85-69 at No. 11/11 Kansas State on Wednesday night at Bramlage Coliseum.
Milos Uzan led the Sooners with 20 points on 7-of-16 shooting. Uzan buried three 3-pointers and it marked his first 20-point performance in the Crimson and Cream.
Otega Oweh added a season-best 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting.
Jacob Groves recorded 11 points and it marked his second consecutive game with double-figure points.
Oklahoma scored the first five points of the contest and found itself tied at 25 after an Oweh layup with 3:28 left in the first half. Kansas State closed the half on a 9-0 run.
After an Oklahoma basket to open the second frame, Kansas State scored the next seven points. The Wildcats extended their lead to 20 points with 14:48 left.
Oklahoma put together its best scoring stretch in the half with under four minutes remaining.
Uzan opened the spurt with a layup and Oweh followed with a lay-in of his own. Uzan again charged down the court and made the acrobatic basket. The Las Vegas product was sent to the line, completing the 3-point play.
Kansas State responded to the OU comeback attempt with a 3-pointer that caused the Bramlage crowd to erupt.
Uzan tallied a lay-in on the Sooners' next possession and scored six of his team-high 20 points in the scoring stretch.
The Wildcats outscored the Sooners 10-4 to end the contest.
