NORMAN — No. 18 Oklahoma wrestling hits the road for the final time before the holiday break, as the Sooners travel to face a competitive field at the 2023 Reno Tournament of Champions on Sunday inside the Reno Events Center.

"This will be a good opportunity for sixteen of our student-athletes to compete against some quality competition," head coach Roger Kish said. "I'm excited to see how our guys respond after last weekend."

Twenty-one teams are competing in the annual tournament, which began in 1996. Participants include ranked squads in OU's Big 12 foe Oklahoma State (No. 9), Oregon State (No. 16) and Arizona State (No. 22). Team totals will be kept, with just one competitor per weight class counting toward the team total.

Competition is slated to begin at 11:00 a.m. CT and run throughout the day. Sunday's tournament will be available to stream on FloWrestling.
