The 23rdĀ ranked Oklahoma wrestling team resumes its season this weekend when it travels to Edinboro, Pa., for a dual vs. Edinboro followed by the Bobby Kaufman Memorial Open. The dual vs. Edinboro is slated for 6 p.m. CT Saturday, followed by the all-day tournament on Sunday.
Both events will be available for streaming with a subscription to FloWrestling.

In a Bedlam clash for the ages, Oklahoma (2-2) fell short to No. 12 Oklahoma State, 21-15, after the Cowboys made a late run. The Sooners won four of the first five bouts, including a then-No. 16 Joey Prata win over then-No. 8 Trevor Mastrogiovanni 3-2 in the second bout of the day.
Edinboro (0-3) is winless this season, most recently dropping a 36-7 dual to Bucknell and a 26-6 loss to Buffalo at the Buffalo Duals on Dec. 18. Oklahoma leads the all-time series 2-0, with the Sooners winning the most recent match via a 31-6 rout on Feb. 9, 2019.
OU will make its first appearance ever in the Bobby Kaufman Memorial Open with No. 4 Michigan, No. 9 Ohio State, and othersĀ occupying the field of competition.Ā
This weekend marks a return home for Oklahoma head coach Lou Rosselli, who was a two-time All-American at Edinboro between 1989-1993. Rosselli is a member of the Edinboro Hall of Fame and coached the Fighting Scots for 11 seasons, three years as a volunteer and eight years as an assistant.
The Sooners stay on the road to open the spring slate, traveling to the Virginia Duals on Jan. 13-14. Oklahoma will wrestle in four duals at the two-day event with matchups vs. No. 18 Maryland and Campbell on Friday, followed by battles with Ohio and Navy the following day. At last year's Virginia Duals, the Sooners went 3-0 with wins over Maryland, Kent State and Lock Haven.
