THE 2023 SOONERS

Oklahoma returns graduate seniors Ivana Corley and Alexandra Pisareva; seniors Carmen Corley and Layne Sleeth; junior Dana Guzman; and sophomore Emma Staker.

The team adds newcomers Romana Cisovska, from Slovakia, and Julia Garcia Ruiz, who arrives from Morelia, Mexico. The pair made their OU debuts during the fall slate. Garcia Ruiz advanced to the ITA Central Region finals, which earned her a ticket to ITA Fall Nationals, becoming the first Sooner to qualify since Martina Capurro in 2019.

Head coach Audra Cohen enters her seventh season, holding a 101-42 record. Cohen is joined by assistant coach Jose Gracia and volunteer assistant coach Mariana Cobra.

2022 IN REVIEW

The squad finished the 2022 season with numerous milestones and broken records. They claimed the program's first Big 12 Regular Season title, tallied 32 wins in a season, rose to their highest ITA and USTA ranking at No. 2, qualified for their first ITA National Indoors while also reaching the finals, and reached the NCAA Championship for the first time in program history.

On top of the team's historic achievements, Cohen earned the national and conference Coach of the Year honor and Gracia earned ITA Central Region Assistant Coach of the Year.

The squad racked up several prestigious honors, including Layne Sleeth as Big 12 Newcomer of the Year and an ITA Singles All-American, the Corley Sisters earning ITA Doubles All-America status and the team earning seven additional All-Big 12 honors.
