NORMAN – Oklahoma baseball redshirt sophomore shortstop
Peyton Graham was named a first-team All-American by three organizations and was one of several Sooners to receive national and regional recognition for the 2022 season.
Graham was named a first-team All-American by Baseball America, D1Baseball and the NCBWA, a second-team All-American by the ABCA and a third-team All-American by Collegiate Baseball. Redshirt sophomore pitcher

Trevin Michael earned second-team All-America honors from D1Baseball and third-team All-America honors from the NCBWA.
Three Sooners also earned recognition on the 2022 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-Region teams from the ABCA. Graham was named to the Central All-Region First Team, while redshirt sophomore catcher

Graham was also named the NCBWA District 6 Co-Player of the Year and was a finalist for the Brooks Wallace Award for top shortstop in the nation as well as a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award. He was a first-team All-Big 12 selection and was named Most Outstanding Player of the 2022 Big 12 Championship. The Waxahachie, Texas, product led Oklahoma in 2022 with 20 home runs, four triples, 71 RBIs, 75 runs scored and 34 stolen bases, and batted .333. He has also registered 17 doubles, 29 multiple hit games and a team-best 21 multiple RBI contests. Graham became the first player in OU history to register at least 20 home runs and at least 30 stolen bases in a season.
Bennett was the Sooners' Friday night starter all season, posting a 10-4 record and 3.69 ERA in 19 starts. The Bixby, Okla., product struck out 133 batters and walked only 22 in 117.0 innings. He went at least 6.0 innings in 13 starts and allowed three or fewer runs in 11 starts. He was victorious in six straight starts from May 13-June 17. He earned his first career save in OU's regional final win over Florida.
Michael led the Sooners with a 2.89 ERA and 10 saves. He notched 95 strikeouts and allowed just 20 walks and a .211 opponent batting average in 71.2 innings across 32 appearances and two starts this season. He appeared in 10 games since the end of the regular season and earned two saves while registering 24 strikeouts over 24.0 innings. The Piedmont, Okla., product made his second start of the season and pitched 6.0 innings in the winner-take-all regional final at Florida, then closed both of OU's Super Regional victories and pitched at least 2.0 frames in the first three MCWS contests.
Graham is OU's second straight first-team All-American, joining
Tyler Hardman in 2021, and its seventh since the 2000 season (Sheldon Neuse in 2016, Jon Gray in 2013, Matt Oberste in 2013, J.T. Wise in 2009, Jeff Bajenaru in 2000).
