2020: Earned Freshman All-America honors from Collegiate Baseball Newspaper… made three starts on the mound during the season shortened due to COVID-19… went 3-0 with a 0.75 ERA and combined on a shutout… in his first collegiate start, he struck out seven batters and allowed a run on four hits and a walk in 4.0 innings vs. Texas Southern (2/19)… tossed 4.0 perfect frames with nine strikeouts vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff (3/4)… pitched 4.0 scoreless innings with three strikeouts, allowing two hits and two walks in his first road start at UT Arlington (3/10).

High School: Attended Bixby High School in Bixby, Okla.… selected in the 39th round of the 2019 MLB Draft by the Washington Nationals… rated as the top-ranked left-handed pitcher in Oklahoma by Perfect Game… a 2019 Oklahoma all-state selection with a 1.46 ERA during his high school career… a three-time Tulsa World All-World honorable mention and Oklahoma all-state selection… as a junior, he struck out 54 batters in 35.2 innings and posted a 5-1 record and 2.30 ERA… posted a 1.70 ERA as a sophomore in 2017, and as a freshman he went 5-0 while posting a school-record 0.62 ERA.
