⢠Since April 2 (18 games), Robertson has batted .478/.621/.812 (33 for 69) with 27 RBIs, 26 runs, 12 doubles, one triple, three home runs, 24 walks and 12 strikeouts. He has reached base in 28 straight games.
⢠Oklahoma is hitting .301 as a team and averaging 7.7 runs, 10.1 hits and 3.4 extra base hits per game (92 doubles, 38 home runs). The pitching staff has compiled a 5.33 ERA, 373 strikeouts to 157 walks and 400 hits in 378.1 innings and has allowed a .272 opponent batting average.

The Sooners had a similar eight-game scoring run between March 9-21 of last season, but have only scored at least seven runs in eight or more games four times in the last 11 years. Oklahoma opened the 2011 season by scoring at least seven runs in nine consecutive games.
ā¢Ā During a nine-game stretch over two weeks (March 29-April 12), the Sooners played eight games against opponents ranked among the top-8 nationally. OU went 5-4 overall during that stretch (4-4 vs. ranked foes Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas Tech).Ā
ā¢Ā During its 12-game homestand (9-3 record at L. Dale Mitchell Park from March 8-27), Oklahoma turned up the offense. Recapping the Last Week
ā¢Ā Oklahoma won its three-game Big 12 series against Kansas State, winning by scores of 14-2 and 22-10 before falling 8-7 on Sunday. OU fell at Oral Roberts on Tuesday 5-1.

Jake Bennett was named Big 12 Pitcher of the Week after striking out 11 batters over 7.0 shutout innings in the series opener on Friday. His 11 punch outs tied a career high and was his third tally of 10 more strikeouts this season. Bennett has lasted at least 6.0 innings in seven of his 11 starts and allowed three or fewer runs in eight starts this year.

Jackson Nicklaus homered in all three games and registered six RBIs, five runs and a .538 batting average (7 for 13). He also posted a 1.308 slugging percentage on the weekend.
John Spikerman hit .700 in two games (7 for 10), doubled three times, scored five runs and drove in four runs. He scored on an error after stealing second base and made it all the way around the bases on a double and an error on Saturday.

Jimmy Crooks batted .500 with four of his six hits going for doubles, and
Peyton Graham hit two homers and drove in six runs in the series. Spikerman led the Sooners with two stolen bases.
ā¢Ā Oklahoma batted .418 in the series with 17 doubles and eight home runs. OU concluded the weekend with 43 runs on 46 hits in the three games. This was the second straight weekend in which the Sooners compiled more than 40 runs and 40 hits and drew 26 walks in their three-game series (had 46 runs on 46 hits and 26 walks last week at Kansas).
ā¢Ā The loss on Tuesday was Oklahoma's first midweek defeat of the season. The Sooners are now 8-1 in midweek games. At ORU, the Golden Eagles scored three runs in the first inning and OU was unable to overcome the deficit, registering four hits in the game and scoring its only run in the seventh inning on a wild pitch.Ā Ā Ā
Base Snatchers
ā¢Ā The Sooners have registered 99 stolen bases in 127 attempts through 42 games this season. OU surpassed its total from all of last year (46 steals) in the 18th game of this season. The last time Oklahoma completed a season with at least 100 steals was in 1996 (104).
ā¢Ā Oklahoma ranks sixth nationally in stolen bases (99) and seventh in steals per game (2.4). Both figures rank second in the Big 12, only to West Virginia's 135 steals and average of 3.2 steals per game.
ā¢Ā OU has registered at least 100 steals in a season 12 times since 1962. The first was in 1973 (106) and the last was in 1996. The school record for steals is 192, set in 1975.Ā

Jimmy Crooks has nine steals. The last time OU had at least one player with 13 steals at the end of a season was 2013 (16 by Craig Aikin and 13 by Matt Oberste). A total of 14 players have recorded at least one stolen base this season.
ā¢Ā Oklahoma has registered at least 10 steals in a game twice this season. OU went off for 11 steals against Wichita State on Feb. 22 and stole 10 bases on April 16 vs. Pacific.
ā¢Ā Three players ā Graham, Pettis and Tredaway ā each had three stolen bases in the Feb. 22 game vs. Wichita State. Graham notched three steals again vs. Texas on April 2. It was the fourth time a single player has registered three steals in a single game this season.
ā¢Ā Prior to Feb. 22, no single Sooner had stolen three bases in a game since Erik Ross against Hartford in 2012. Oklahoma (3-1) finished the Wichita State game one steal shy of the school record of 12, set in 1937 against East Central (Okla.) University.
