Sooners Set to Host Texas, TCU

The Sooners' meeting with the Longhorns is slated for 4:30 p.m. CT on Thursday and will be broadcasted on Bally Sports OK. Chad McKee will do play-by-play and Mark Johnson will be the analyst.
Saturday's match against TCU is slated for 5 p.m. CT with seniors Mason Beiler and Matt Rodriguez being honored pre-match for Senior Day.
MATCH DAY BASICS
The Sooners' 2022 matches at the Headington Family Tennis Center will be open to the public and free of charge. Due to the elimination of concessions at the Headington Family Tennis Center, fans are encouraged to bring in their own food and drinks. OU implemented a clear bag policy.
Free OU tennis t-shirts and pizza and will be provided to fans at both home matches. Additionally, free OU tennis wristbands will be available at the Texas match.

LAST TIME OUT
OU faced two ranked opponents last weekend in No. 42 Texas Tech and No. 4 Baylor on the road. The Sooners fell 4-3 against the Red Raiders and 6-1 against the Bears.
Beiler, Alex Martinez and Justin Schlageter all picked up singles wins in Lubbock. In singles action, junior Schlageter tied the match at 1-all with the first singles win on the night. Schlageter defeated Texas Tech's Pawlak 6-3, 6-3 at the No. 6 spot. Martinez tied the match at 2-all with a 7-5, 7-6 (3) win over Collier at the No. 2 line. No. 41 Beiler pulled the Sooners ahead, defeating Arevalo 7-5, 6-2 at the top spot.
At Baylor, freshman Jordan Hasson tallied the Sooners' lone win, defeating Marko Miladinovic 6-4, 6-4 at the No. 4 spot.

The Sooners await seeding for the Big 12 Tennis Championships to be held April 22-24 in Fort Worth, Texas.
