AMARILLO, Texas –
Brett Squires and
Blake Robertson both notched five hits and the Oklahoma baseball team blasted five home runs to slug past No. 4 Texas Tech 14-9 Tuesday night at Hodgetown.
Squires went 5 for 5 with four RBIs and two home runs while Robertson went 5 for 6 with three RBIs and a homer. Both players tallied their first homers of the season Tuesday.
Jimmy Crooks also drove in four runs, going 2 for 4 with a home run and two walks.
Peyton Graham hit his ninth home run of the season and scored three runs.
Braden Carmichael (3-0) allowed just one hit and struck out three over 4.0 innings in the start.
Trevin Michael, the last of six relievers, pitched the final two innings.
