NORMAN – Oklahoma senior guard 
Jordan Goldwire has been selected to compete in the 2022 Dos Equis 3x3U National Championship at The Sugar Mill in New Orleans April 1-3.
Goldwire is a member of the the Southwest Souljas - a collection of players from the Big 12 and Southland conferences. The Norcross, Ga., product Averaged 10.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game in his one year in the Crimson and Cream. He started in all 35 games and was an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention honoree. 
Goldwire and the Southwest Souljas opens pool play Friday at 6:40 p.m. (CT) against the Summit Valley Oop'n.
 
In total, the 64 players, who have chosen to pursue professional basketball opportunities, represent each Division I conference. The 16, four-man teams are slated to compete for their share of the $150,000 prize pool.
Teams will play each squad in their respective pool on Friday and Saturday before all 16 head to the knockout stage on Sunday. The top two teams from each pool receiving byes to the quarterfinals. The winning team from each pool play game will win $1,000, victories in the first two knockout rounds will net another $1,000, a quarterfinal win is worth $5,000, a semifinal triumph is another $10,000, while the team that takes home the Tournament title will add $50,000 to their winnings. 
 
Forty of the 64 players competing in the event earned All-Conference honors this season. Of those 40, 21 earned first-team accolades, four won their league's player of the year award and 20 were recognized as NABC All-District performers
