NORMAN – No. 18 Oklahoma (16-3, 5-2) is set to host Oklahoma State for Bedlam in Norman on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The Sooners are locked in a tie for first place in the Big 12 Conference while the Cowgirls occupy the 10th spot. Oklahoma has won 13 of its last 15 games and its overall record is its best through 19 games since the 2008-09 Sooner team started 24-2.
The game will be streamed live on Bally Sports Oklahoma Plus with Chad McKee and Dan Hughes on the call and will air on the Sooner Radio Network on KOKC 1520 AM and KREF 99.3 FM/1400 AM with Brian Brinkley calling the action.
Doors to the arena open one hour before tip and the Lloyd Noble Center's
clear-bag policy is in effect.
THE STARTING FIVE
- The Sooners enter Wednesday night's Bedlam game ranked No. 18 in the AP Top 25 poll. Oklahoma made its first appearance in the poll in over four years on Jan. 3 when the voters tabbed it as the No. 23 team in the country.
- The Sooners have used the Sooner Magic to comeback from double-digit deficits four times this season, including twice vs. ranked opponents. Down 19 points in the second half of the Utah game, the Sooners outscored the Utes 32-14 in the fourth quarter to secure the fourth-largest comeback in program history. That performance followed the win over then-No. 16 BYU when OU erased a 10-point deficit to knock off the Cougars in overtime. The Sooners came back from 16 points down at Kansas to post the fourth-largest comeback ever vs. a Big 12 opponent. Most recently, OU erased multiple 10-point deficits to knock off No. 14 Baylor in Norman on Jan. 12.
- In just 19 games this season, Oklahoma has scored 90-plus-points eight times, the most for a Sooner team in the last decade of Oklahoma basketball. The Sooners' 100 points scored vs. TCU are the second-most ever for Oklahoma in a Big 12 game and the 97 points dropped on Texas Tech are tied for the third most for OU in a conference contest.
- Oklahoma's high-powered offensive attack is one of the best in the country and on pace to be the best in program history. OU's 87.1 points per game rank second nationally and first in the league as the attack is powered by D1-best 20.5 assists per game. Taylor Robertson (18.3 PPG) and Madi Williams (18.4) make Oklahoma the only team in the Big 12 and one of four teams nationally to land two scorers that average of 18.0 points per game.
- There are six teams in the country with 10+ wins over top-100 NET opponents: No. 1 South Carolina (14), No. 2 Stanford (10), No. 3 NC State (11), No. 4 Tennessee (12), No. 5 Louisville (10) and the 18th-ranked Sooners (11). The Sooners rank fourth in the country with three NET top-25 wins, 10th nationally with two wins over teams ranked 26-50 in the NET and rank second with six wins over teams 51-100 in the NET. OU is an unblemished 3-0 vs. teams outside the top 150.

The Oklahoma women's basketball team fell on the road to Kansas State, 94-65, at Bramlage Coliseum on Sunday afternoon.Kansas State center Ayoka Lee, a 2021 honorable mention All-American, set an NCAA Division I record by scoring 61 points. She was 23-of-30 from the field and made 15 of her 17 free throw attempts.
Taylor Robertson led the Sooners in scoring with 19 points on 5-of-13 from the field, including 3-of-7 from 3-point range.
Madi Williams scored in double figures for the 16th time this year, tallying 11 points on 4-of-9 shooting. Freshman
Emma Svoboda led the Sooners with seven rebounds.
SERIES HISTORY
Wednesday's game marks the 111th edition of the Bedlam series, pitting Oklahoma and Oklahoma State against each other. The Sooners own a 63-47 series advantage the the program's 63 wins are the most vs. any Sooner opponent. OU maintains a 34-15 advantage when hosting the Cowgirls in Norman but OU hasn't won in Norman since Feb. 2019, six meetings ago. Oklahoma State has won four straight contests.
