NORMAN – After playing two road games in Texas last week, (RV/RV) Oklahoma (12-5, 2-3 Big 12) host No. 7/7 Kansas (14-2, 3-1 Big 12) Tuesday, Jan. 18 at Lloyd Noble Center.
The Sooners and Jayhawks split their regular season games last season before the two programs met in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Tournament. OU won the meeting against the Jayhawks in Norman 75-68.
OU last played at TCU Saturday and dropped its second straight game.
Jalen Hill led Oklahoma with 12 points and 14 rebounds and hit the game tying shot to force overtime.
Jordan Goldwire added 12 points and
Elijah Harkless 11.

SCOUTING THE JAYHAWKS
- No. 7/7 Kansas (14-2, 3-1 Big 12) enter the clash in Norman with back-to-back victories over West Virginia and Iowa State. The Jayhawks' lone Big 12 loss came against then-No. 25 Texas Tech in Lubbock. KU is coached by Bill Self in his 19th season as head coach.
- Ochai Agbaji leads the Kansas' offense with 20.6 points per game and boasts a 52.8% field goal percentage. Agbaji ranks first in the Big 12 and 13th nationally in points per game. Christian Braun boasts 15.6 points per contest and is tied for second on the team with 6.2 rebounds per game.
- The Jayhawks rank in the top 25 in five categories and lead the Big 12 in field goal percentage (50.2), scoring margin (81.9) and three-point field goal percentage (37.0).
KANSAS VS. OKLAHOMA TIDBITS
- Oklahoma and Kansas will meet for the 221st time Tuesday and the Sooners and Jayhawks split the regular season meetings last season. OU won the clash in Norman 75-68 behind a team-high 22 points by De'Vion Harmon.
- Oklahoma transfers and brothers Tanner and Jacob Groves burst on to the national scene with their showing against Kansas in the first round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament. T. Groves led the Eagles with 35 points on 11-for-18 shooting and 5-11 from three. J. Groves added 23 points on 8-for-11 shooting and 4-5 from three. The younger Groves added nine rebounds, while the elder added five rebounds and three blocks.
- Oklahoma and Kansas clashed in the 1988 NCAA Championship game with the Jayhawks earning the 83-79 victory. All five Sooners finished in double figures and were led by Dave Sieger's 22 points.
MOSER VERSUS AP TOP-15 TEAMS
- Porter Moser earned his third victory over an opponent ranked in the top 15 of the AP Poll Saturday, Jan. 8 after beating No. 11 Iowa State 79-66 at Lloyd Noble Center. OU had previously beaten then-No. 12 Arkansas 88-66 Saturday, Dec. 11 in Tulsa and then-No. 14 Florida 74-67 Dec. 1. The Sooners lone loss was at No. 1 Baylor 84-74 Jan. 4.
- Moser is the first Oklahoma coach to have three AP top 15 victories in his first 15 games and is only the second coach to have at least three such victories in their first season. Kelvin Sampson (1994-95) earned three victories against teams ranked in the top 15 and tallied five top 25 wins. The 1994-95 squad finished 23-9 overall and made the NCAA Tournament.
