Stripe the Stadium on 9/11

NORMAN – To commemorate the 20th anniversary of 9/11, OU is putting a different spin on its annual Stripe the Stadium game.

When the Sooners play Western Carolina in their home opener on Sept. 11, we're asking fans to Stripe the Stadium horizontally in a pattern of exactly 13 rows to match the United States flag. View map and key at the bottom of this page.

Additionally, the OU Athletics Department is planning a number of special events to thank and recognize emergency services personnel, frontline workers and military members as part of this special day.
