NORMAN – The Oklahoma men's tennis team is set for its 11
th consecutive NCAA tournament appearance as the Sooners earned their 2021 bid on Monday.
The Sooners (10-14) will head to the College Station Regional hosted by Texas A&M.
"It's always exciting to make the NCAA tournament - this is what we play for," said OU head coach
Nick Crowell. "Our guys are excited to be there and head back to College Station. We know we have a great opponent in Denver."
OU will open the tournament with Denver while host Texas A&M and New Mexico square off on the other side of the bracket. First- and second-round competition takes place May 7-8 or 8-9 and features four teams playing in a single-elimination format. The winner of each site advances to the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida, where the 16 teams will compete for the national championship May 17-28. The event will be hosted by the University of Central Florida and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission.
2021 marks OU's fourth NCAA appearance under Crowell. The Sooners have advanced to the NCAA second round or further in each of the last seven seasons, including a Round of 16 appearance in their last tournament outing in 2019.

Singles and doubles selections and brackets will be revealed Tuesday, May 4 at 5 p.m. CT.
The NCAA individual championships will be conducted May 20-25 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.
