Thursday's game will be available on FSOK with Jessica Coody and Brenda VanLengen on the call.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

  • Oklahoma will look to bounce back Sunday in the final game of the regular season as the Sooners host Kansas State at 3 p.m. CT. The Sooners saw their winning streak come to an end at three games after falling to TCU 83-79 Thursday at home.

  • The Sooners won the first meeting with Kansas State 80-78 in Manhattan on Jan. 31. Playing with just six players due to COVID-19 contact tracing and protocols, OU held off a late Kansas State rally and Taylor Robertson sealed a win on a pair of free throws. Gabby Gregory led the way for the Sooners with 19 points, five rebounds and a late block that saved the game. Madi Williams had 18 points, six rebounds, seven assists, five steals and two blocks while Robertson scored 16 points including the game-winning free throws. Tatum Veitenheimer scored 15 points on 6-for-8 shooting.

  • Due to games being rescheduled for COVID-related issues and weather, OU is closing out the season with five games in a span of 12 days (Feb. 24-March 7). The Sooners are 3-1 with just one to go and is 5-2 down the stretch in Big 12 play. OU finds itself on the NCAA tournament bubble as the team has jumped 25 spots in the RPI rankings since the beginning of February to No. 66 heading into Sunday's game. The Sooners currently sit in sixth place in the Big 12 and according to the NCAA's NET rankings, OU's strength of schedule ranks 17th nationally.

  • Taylor Robertson was tabbed Big 12 Player of the Week for March 1 and was named to the NCAA Women's Basketball Starting Five for March 3 for her role in OU's last three wins. Over those games, Robertson has averaged 19.3 points on 58.6% (17-for-29) shooting in addition to 3.0 rebounds per contest.

  • The Sooners are now 5-1 in games decided by five points or fewer, good for their most wins in tight games since 2012-13. Of OU's seven conference victories this season, six have come by six points or fewer – OU's 16-point win at TCU (Feb. 24) was good for the team's largest margin of victory in a Big 12 game in 2020-21.
