NORMAN – The No. 20 Oklahoma men's tennis team is set to close out the 2021 home slate this weekend as the Sooners host No. 21 Texas Tech on Thursday at 4 p.m., followed by No. 5 Baylor on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Both matches will be broadcast on Bally Sports Oklahoma and streamed on the Fox Sports GO app.
Matchday Storylines
• ITA No. 20 OU (8-9) opens Big 12 play at home with top-25 opponents No. 21 Texas Tech on Friday at 4 p.m. and No. 5 Baylor on Saturday at 4 p.m. The contests will be OU's fifth and sixth consecutive matches against top-35 opponents since March 12.
• OU has met both of this weekend's opponents during the non-conference slate. OU faced then-No. 4 Baylor in Waco on Feb. 5, where the Bears prevailed 4-1. The Sooners met then-No. 31 Texas Tech on March 14 in Dallas with the Red Raiders taking that contest 4-2.

Nathan Han vaulted 24 spots to No. 28 nationally in doubles. The duo is the fourth-ranked Big 12 team. At 9-4 on the year, the duo has two wins over ranked opponents, including No. 10 Sven Lah and Constantin Frantzen of Baylor in a 6-2 route on Feb. 5.
• The Sooners split last week's competition, rolling past No. 15 Arizona 4-1 on March 22 before falling to No. 26 UCF on March 27.

OU Athletics has announced that fans will not be admitted for 2021 matches at the Headington Family Tennis Center due to limited seating capacity related to COVID-19 precautions. Home and visitor student-athletes will receive a limited number of complimentary tickets on a pass-list basis.
