Sooners Host Kansas on the Oklahoma River

NORMAN - The University of Oklahoma rowing team begins its 2021 season Saturday in Oklahoma City with a dual against Kansas on the Oklahoma River.
"We're looking forward to opening our spring season here in Oklahoma City," said OU head coach Leeanne Crain. "It will be great to match up against a Big 12 opponent and we're excited to welcome Kansas to our home venue."
Racing for the Sooners will begin at 8 a.m. near the OU Boathouse (1409 Exchange Ave.), beginning with the 2V4+.
Oklahoma last competed in a regatta in November 2019 before having to cancel its spring and fall schedules. Saturday's dual will give the Sooners an opportunity to return to action and provide experience for its eager group.
Following the 2V4+ is the 1V4+ at 8:20. The 2V8+ races at 8:40 before concluding the morning with the 1V8+ at 9:00.
