NOTES AND NUMBERS FOR MEET EIGHT

MEET BASICS
For the first time since Jan. 31, the Sooners are back inside the friendly confines of Lloyd Noble Center. OU will host Denver, Lindenwood and TWU in a quad-meet on Friday at 6:45 p.m. CT. The meet will air on Fox Sports Oklahoma.

LOOK BACK AT IT
On Feb. 19, the Sooners improved to 11-0 on the season with a 197.475 and a trio of wins over NC State, George Washington and William & Mary. The Sooners topped host NC State (196.125), George Washington (193.600) and William & Mary (189.450). OU swept the four event titles and NC State's Emily Shepard won the all-around. Allie Stern took home vault with a 9.9 and Katherine LeVasseur earned top marks on bars with a 9.9 as well. Karrie Thomas earned the beam title with a 9.5 and Anastasia Webb took home floor with a 9.925.

MILESTONE WATCH
Head coach K.J. Kindler reached a career milestone on Feb. 13 as she earned her 400th win as the head coach at Oklahoma. In that time, she has lead the Sooners to 11 Big 12 Championships, four National Championships and three perfect seasons. This isn't the only milestone Kindler will celebrate in 2021. Kindler needs just three wins to reach 500 in her career. With another quad meet on deck for the Sooners, the milestone victory could come as soon as Friday's meet. Prior to Oklahoma, Kindler tallied 94 wins as the head coach at Iowa State (2001-2006). Kindler's career wins rank sixth all-time in NCAA history and second amongst current head coaches. Michigan's Bev Plocki has nearly 800 wins in her 31 year career at the helm of the program.

WINNING WAYS
With an 11-0 record to start the 2021 season, the Sooners have extended their winning streak to 59 consecutive wins, dating back to the 2019 season. OU's last loss came at the 2018 NCAA Championships when they finished as the runner-up. This is the second longest winning streak in school history for the Sooners who have posted three streaks of 50 victories or more. From 2016-2018, the Sooners had 75 consecutive victories, including a perfect season in 2017. From 2014-2015, the Sooners won 50 consecutive meets. OU currently has the nation's longest active win streak. Florida currently ranks second with 16 consecutive wins after going undefeated in the shortened 2020 season.

WONDERFUL WEBB
Senior Anastasia Webb has been called one of the most underrated gymnasts in the NCAA and has been quietly building an impressive resume in her four years as a Sooner. Webb has notched a pair of perfect scores in her career, earning a 10 on beam as a freshman in 2018 and a 10 on vault this season at the Metroplex Challenge. Webb boasts a career-high of 9.95 on both bars and floor and a 39.725 in the all-around. Currently, Webb has 50 individual event titles to rank fifth all-time in program history. She also ranks in the top 10 with 14 beam titles (7th), 13 floor titles (7th) and 12 all-around titles (4th). Webb could easily move into second all-time in all-around titles as she needs just three more. Webb is 100 percent in participation, having competed in every single meet during her career. She boasts a hit percentage of 95.2, nailing 141 of 148 career routines. Webb has competed in the all-around in 41 of her 50 career meets and has competed at least three events in 49 of 50. She has never missed an opportunity to compete on bars or beam, competing those two events in all 50 career meets.

NATIONAL RANKINGS
Nine Sooners hold 12 individual rankings. Anastasia Webb leads the way with top-10 rankings on two events and in the all-around. Webb is fourth on beam (9.921), 10th on vault (9.882) and 24th in the all-around (39.279). Two other seniors join Webb in the rankings as Evy Schoepfer is ranked fourth on vault (9.896) and Carly Woodard in tied for 10th on beam (9.900). Two freshmen are ranked with Audrey Davis at No. 11 on bars (9.900) and Audrey Lynn at No. 14 on vault (9.875). Sophomore Vanessa Deniz is ranked in the top 10 on a pair of events coming in at No. 7 on beam (9.908) and tied for eighth on bars (9.900). Junior Allie Stern is ranked No. 21 on vault (9.868) while fellow junior Olivia Trautman made her debut in the rankings at No. 16 on bars (9.875). Sophomore Ragan Smith is tied for 18th on floor (9.895).

THOMAS NAMED EVENT SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
Senior Karrie Thomas earned her fourth career Big 12 honor, being named the Event Specialist of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday. Thomas competed on a pair of events in the Sooners win over NC State, George Washington and William & Mary on Feb. 19. The senior took home her first ever event title on beam as she tied her career-high 9.95. Thomas has now tallied a 9.95 on beam in back-to-back meets and helped OU to its two best team beam scores of the season. The Coral Springs, Fla., native also added a 9.825 as the leadoff on bars.
