NORMAN — After a fall schedule that was limited to conference-only matches due to COVID-19 precautions, head coach Mark Carr and the Oklahoma soccer team announced seven games for the spring portion of its season.
The Sooners will play seven matches from February to April, with three games in Norman at John Crain Field, beginning Friday, Feb. 26 with an exhibition contest versus the University of Central Oklahoma.
OU will face UCO at 7 p.m. CT next Friday before playing four away from Norman. The Sooners will head to Denton, Texas, to play North Texas on March 4 at 7 p.m. before meeting Big 12 foe Iowa State on Saturday, March 13 at 3 p.m. in Lawrence, Kan.
Oklahoma will hit the road for two more tough matches with 2020 Big 12 champion TCU in Fort Worth on March 20 at 7 p.m. prior to making a trip to Stillwater for a spring Bedlam match versus Oklahoma State, March 27 at 7 p.m.
The team will close with two home matches against Baylor and Kansas State, April 10 and 17, respectively. The Sooners and Bears will meet at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 10 before OU meets the K-State Wildcats on April 17 at 1 p.m. to close the spring slate.
The Sooners return 21 players from their fall roster, including Big 12 All-Freshman Team honoree Cailey England.
Due to limited seating capacity related to COVID-19 precautions, Oklahoma will not be selling season or single-game tickets for the 2021 spring season. Home and visitor student-athletes will receive a limited number of complimentary tickets on a pass-list basis.
