Oklahoma won every event as a team and Sooners claimed each individual event title, including junior Morgan Seyler claiming the all-around crown.
With the victory, the program extended its exceptional win streak inside the Field House to 75, winning every meet inside the historic venue since 2007.
"I thought we got better tonight," said OU head coach Mark Williams. "I felt good about our consistency and thought there were places where we had really good gymnastics. I don't know if we've reached where we can be yet, in terms of difficulty, but we're doing what we can safely do right now and doing well with execution.
"It was good to be back in the field house and extend our streak that we've held since 2007. It was good to see some familiar faces here tonight. Moving forward, we have to do a little bit more difficulty down the road but I'm really happy with how we're doing."
OU rotated Olympic order on the evening, beginning on floor exercise. Senior captain Gage Dyer went right back to work on arguably his best event, winning the individual title with a 14.750 routine. Seyler chipped in a solid 14.300 score as the Sooners tallied a 69.100.
In the second rotation on pommel horse, OU registered a 66.750. Freshman Zach Nunez paced the squad in his first meet inside the Field House, recording a career-best 13.750 to claim the event title. Each score that counted for OU was 13.100 or better, with junior Vitaliy Guimaraes contributing a 13.600 that was second to Nunez' mark.
Oklahoma registered a season-best tally of 68.500 on still rings in the third rotation. Redshirt senior Matt Wenske, competing in his last home opener, took the event title with a 13.900 set. Sophomores Alan Camillus and David Sandro each put up 13.700 routines.
Heading to vault in the fourth rotation, Oklahoma stepped on the gas and put up their highest event score of the evening and season, 73.200. The score is the highest event score in the NCAA for the 2021 season. Junior Spencer Goodell, reigning MPSF Gymnast of the Week, went soaring for a 14.900 that won the event title. The rotation featured five 14.500-plus scores for OU, including career bests from Goodell and redshirt sophomore Josh Corona (14.500).
The fifth rotation saw OU move to the parallel bars and set their third season-high event score of the night. Oklahoma went 69.050 with every individual tally above 13.350. Sandro crushed his career best with a clean 14.200 set that won him the event crown. Also registering career highs were redshirt sophomore Cesar Gracia (13.950) and Guimaraes (13.800).
The sixth and final event for OU, high bar, featured plenty of energy courtesy of numerous stuck routines. Sandro and Guimaraes tied for the event title with 13.650 sets, the score a career best for Sandro. Sophomore Jack Freeman recorded a 13.350 set to contribute to OU's 67.150 team tally on the event.
Seyler won the all-around competition over two Falcon gymnasts with a 76.700 score.
Oklahoma returns to action next Saturday at noon CT for a virtual matchup with Army.
