Doolittle's Career By the Numbers

April 21, 2020 | Men's Basketball

Kristian Doolittle's senior season didn't end like he – or anyone – expected. The only senior on Oklahoma's 2019-20 squad, the forward was hours away from opening up the Big 12 Championship in Kansas City as the No. 3 seed.

The Sooners' veteran leader on the court was on the path to playing in his third straight NCAA Tournament and going through one last postseason run.

As the sporting community came to an abrupt halt, Doolittle's collegiate career concluded without the exit most seniors experience.

While Doolittle finishes up his college degree from home and prepares for pursuing his professional dream, SoonerSports.com takes a look back at his career by breaking down the numbers of his four years in the Crimson and Cream.

Doolittle finishes his career ranked 31st in scoring in program history. Over his four seasons, he totaled 1,188 points.

He is one of only 15 players in OU history to total at least 1,000 points and 700 rebounds in a career.

With averages of 15.8 points and 8.9 boards, Doolittle ranked fourth in the Big 12 for both scoring and rebounds.

By being named to the 2020 All-Big 12 First Team, Doolittle became the 10th Sooner to receive First Team status since the Big 12 was formed in 1996. He joins Corey Brewer, Eduardo Najera, Aaron McGhee, Hollis Price (twice), Taj Gray, Blake Griffin (twice), Romero Osby, Buddy Hield (twice) and Trae Young.

Doolittle was first in the Big 12 for 20-point double-doubles, putting together four such performances. On two occasions in 2019-20, Doolittle produced 27 points and 12 rebounds.

By being named Big 12 Player of the Week three times in 2019-20, Doolittle tied KU's Devon Dotson for the most Player of the Week honors in the conference.

After going all of the 2018-19 season without a single 3-pointer and only attempting four shots from behind the arc, Doolittle went on to make 30 3-pointers in 2019-20. His treys ranked second in the Big 12 among players 6-7 or taller, coming behind only teammate Brady Manek.

Finishing the season with his best basketball, Doolittle tallied double-doubles in seven of his final nine games.
