NORMAN – University of Oklahoma head volleyball coach Lindsey Gray-Walton announced her team's spring schedule Monday. The Sooners have set up four matches for the spring, including a home match on Saturday, April 11.
Oklahoma hits the road for its first competition date in Denton, Texas, on Wednesday, March 25. The Sooners will take on North Texas at 6:30 p.m. CT.
Back home, Oklahoma will welcome Wichita State for a 4 p.m. CT match inside McCasland Field House. Admission will be free to all fans.
The spring season will wrap up on Saturday, April 18, when the Sooners head to Carrollton, Texas, for a pair of matches. The Sooners will face Big 12 rival Baylor at 2 p.m. CT, followed by a 3:30 p.m. CT match with instate foe Tulsa. Both matches will take place at the Excel Sports Complex.
The Sooners, who began spring practice on Feb. 24, return 14 athletes from last season, including an eight-member senior class. In that class includes Big 12 Libero of the Year Keyton Kinley, All-Big 12 First Team selections Kylee McLaughlin and Sarah Sanders and All-Big 12 Second-Team selection Paige Anderson.
