Legends Golf Classic Set for August 23

NORMAN – For the ninth straight season, head coach Lon Kruger is inviting former Oklahoma players and staff to Norman for Sooner Basketball Family Weekend, held on Friday, August 23. This season's alumni event features a new format and includes the Sooner Basketball Legends Golf Classic and dinner at Kruger's home.

"We've always cherished the opportunity to gather together as a Sooner family every August. This year's format allows a more intimate setting for our former players and coaches to share memories and bond with other generations of Sooners. We look forward to hosting the alumni game in future years."

The Legends Golf Classic features a morning (8 a.m.) and afternoon (12:45 p.m.) session and will be played with a scramble format. Teams of four can register for $1,000 ($250 for individuals) by Friday, August 9 through this form or by calling (405) 325-8302.

All participants in the golf tournament are then invited to dinner that evening at Kruger's home.
