Perine Returns to Receive His Degree

NORMAN ? Oklahoma's career leading rusher and the NCAA single-game record holder, Samaje Perine can now add college graduate to his list of achievements.
Perine, who completed his degree in human relations during his NFL rookie season with the Washington Redskins, returned for graduation festivities this past weekend.
"Records are made to be broken, but they can never take your degree away from you."

Asked where graduating ranks among all his accomplishments, Perine said definitely right at the top.
"Records are made to be broken, but they can never take your degree away from you. There's nothing that beats getting a college degree."
Perine was one of 129 OU student-athletes who graduated this past year.
