NORMAN - The University of Oklahoma men's basketball team will hold its first official practice of the season on Monday, Oct. 3. The Sooners will hit the Lloyd Noble Center's practice gym floor at 2 p.m.
As with previous seasons under head coach Lon Kruger, the Sooners' practices are open to the public and fans are encouraged to attend and meet the team. In addition to Monday's workout, the Sooners will practice Tuesday (2 p.m.), Wednesday (2 p.m.), Thursday (2 p.m.) and Friday (9:30 a.m.). Fans looking to attend should enter via the Lloyd Noble Center's south ramp door.
Oklahoma opens the 2016-17 season with a home exhibition game against Washburn on Nov. 8. The Sooners begin the regular season on Nov. 13 when they host Northwestern State.
