Men's Hoops Student Season Tickets Just $30

NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department announced Monday that 2015-16 OU men's basketball student season tickets will cost $30 and go on sale here Tuesday, Sept. 15. The Sooners will play 15 regular season home games this year, all at Lloyd Noble Center.

The athletics department also announced a change to the physical student ticketing process. Men's basketball student season tickets will now be loaded onto students' Sooner One Cards, meaning there will no longer be ticket pickups or a print-at-home option. Students will swipe their Sooner One Card at LNC's lower north entrance to gain entry to the building.

Students may enter the arena 90 minutes prior to tip-off and student seating is general admission.

The OU men's basketball team returns four starters from last year's NCAA Sweet 16 squad, including Big 12 Player of the Year Buddy Hield, and is projected as a preseason top-10 team by most national prognosticators.

The Sooners begin the season with exhibition games Nov. 6 and 12 against Washburn and Mid-America Christian, respectively. Students will be admitted to those contests free of charge with a valid student I.D.

Head coach Lon Kruger will host the program's fifth annual alumni weekend this Friday and Saturday. The festivities culminate with the alumni game on Saturday at noon at the LNC. Admission is free.
