FORT WORTH, Texas In its final Big 12 road match of the season, the Oklahoma soccer team played to a 0-0 draw in double overtime against TCU on Sunday afternoon. The contest was played inside the Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium in front of a crowd of 1,332.

The Sooners (9-6-3 overall, 2-2-3 Big 12) outshot the Horned Frogs (8-7-1 overall, 2-3-1 Big 12) by a mark of 19-17, with TCU holding a seven to four advantage in shots on goal.

With her seventh shutout of the year, OU junior goalkeeper Kassidie Stade tied the program single-season record. Jennifer Nichols recorded seven shutouts in both 2005 and 2006. On Sunday, Stade corralled seven saves in a full 110 minutes in goal.

OU was aggressive offensively in the overtime periods, recording five shots between the two frames. However, the Sooners could not quite find the back of the net as they finished with their third draw of the season, all of which have come in conference play.

This season, the Sooners have played six overtime contests, five of which have gone two extra periods. In those overtime games, OU has posted a 0-3-3 record.

Twelve different Sooners got off shots in the match, led by sophomore forward Chelsea Jackson with three, one of which was on goal. All of Jackson's shots came in a five-minute stretch at the end of regulation and in the first overtime period.

Senior defender Laura Rayfield, junior midfielder Shiloh Price, sophomore defender/forward Jordyn Knox-Webster, freshman forward/midfielder Kaylee Dao and freshman defender Paige Welch each recorded two shots apiece.

"Having to play a rested team on the road is never easy," fourth-year OU head coach Matt Potter said. "The group showed its toughness and resolve, and on a different day the endeavor is rewarded with a goal. Today it wasn't to be, but any road result in conference is a positive one, especially at this time of the year."

The Sooners close the regular season on Friday, Oct. 30 with a Bedlam contest in Norman. OU and Oklahoma State are set to play at 7 p.m. CT. The match will be Senior Night for Rayfield and Devin Barrett. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the OU Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 456-GoOU.
