Oklahoma at Oklahoma State

• No. 24 Oklahoma outscored Oklahoma State 39-24 in the second half to post a 64-56 road win. The victory resulted in OU's second straight regular season Bedlam sweep and fifth in the last 10 years.
• Oklahoma (14-7, 5-4) trailed by as many as 12 points in the first half and were behind 32-25 at halftime. OU went on a 15-6 scoring run to start the second half to take a 40-38 lead, its first of the game.
• After allowing Oklahoma State (14-7, 4-5) to shoot 47.8 percent from the field in the first half, OU held the Cowboys to a 32.0 mark in the second.
• The Sooners outscored OSU 16-5 in second-chance points (13-0 after halftime) and 24-16 off turnovers. OU has outscored its opponent off turnovers in 11 of the last 14 games and in 16 of 21 on the year.
• In-state products Jordan Woodard and Ryan Spangler turned in strong performances against OSU again. Woodard scored a season-high 17 points with the help of a career-high-tying three 3-pointers (on four attempts) and 6-for-6 free throw shooting. Spangler finished with 13 points, a game-high 9 rebounds and a career-high 6 assists. Spangler has scored in double figures in all four of his career Bedlam games.
• Buddy Hield scored 12 of his 15 points after halftime on 4-for-4 field goal and 3-for-3 free throw shooting. Hield has scored in double figures in all nine Big 12 games.
• TaShawn Thomas registered 12 points and 8 boards and took three charges on the night to up his team-leading season total to 10.
• For the second time this year, OU held Phil Forte and Le'Bryan Nash to below-average point totals. Forte scored 15 (averaged 17.4 before tonight) and Nash tallied 12 (averaged 17.1). Nash only played four minutes in the first half due to foul trouble (totaled 24 on the night). Forte committed a season-high five turnovers.
• For the 18th time in 21 games this year, OU held its opponent below its season scoring average entering the game. OSU was averaging 68.8 points before tonight.
• OU returns home to host No. 17 West Virginia on Tuesday at 7 p.m. CT. The Mountaineers are 18-3 overall and 6-2 in the Big 12.
