• In a back-and-forth game, Oklahoma outscored UCLA 26-8 down the stretch to post a 75-65 Battle 4 Atlantis quarterfinals win over UCLA.

• With OU down eight points, Bahamas native Buddy Hield scored 10 straight to put the Sooners up 59-57 with 7:26 remaining. Hield finished with a game-high 24 points, 17 after halftime. He has surpassed the 20-point mark in three of four games.

• Oklahoma posted the double-digit victory despite shooting just .328 from the field, a season low. OU shot only .263 from 3-point range, but outscored the Bruins by 18 from behind the arc (10 makes to four).

• The Sooners held the Bruins to season lows in field goal percentage (.377) and 3-point percentage (.235). UCLA also posted a .429 mark from the free throw line (9 for 21).

• OU held the Bruins to 30 points below their season average. UCLA entered the game averaging 95.2 points a contest while shooting .494 from the field and .424 from long distance.

• Sophomore guard Frank Booker came off the bench to score a season-high 11 points in 14 minutes (eight points in the first half). Booker made three 3-pointers on 10 attempts.

• Sophomore guard Jordan Woodard put OU up for good when he broke a 60-60 tie by hitting a 3-pointer with 5:15 remaining. It was his first 3-pointer of the year. Woodard finished with 10 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals without a turnover in 31 minutes.

Ryan Spangler finished with nine points and a team-high 10 rebounds. He has led OU in rebounds in all four games this year, pulling down at least 10 in three of them (nine in the other).

• One game after committing 20 turnovers against Northwestern State, the Sooners committed just 10 today. They outscored UCLA 13-0 off turnovers (the Bruins committed 13 turnovers).

• OU took a 5-0 lead then watched UCLA score the next nine points. The Sooners trailed 15-8 then went on an 11-0 run to take a 19-15 advantage. OU led 32-27 at halftime despite shooting .265 from the field (UCLA shot .303).

• The Sooners will face Butler in a noon CT quarterfinals game Thursday (televised by ESPN). Butler beat No. 5/6 North Carolina 74-66 in today's opening game.
