With the 2013 season fast approaching, SoonerSports.com will highlight each of the players on the 2013 squad. Each post will help fans get to know the Sooners better before watching them on the field this fall.

The sixth edition of the Countdown features defender Rachel Ressler of Phoenix, Ariz., and Lisa Robinson.

3. Biggest influence on your life ... My mother. She always knows what's best for me and knows what to say when I'm in need. She wants nothing but the best for me...she's my best friend!

Rachel Ressler Bio Brief
Ressler helped lead Desert Vista H.S. to a pair of state playoff appearances in 2011 and 2012. She was an All-State selection and was also named Offensive MVP in 2011 and 2012. A Top Drawer Soccer three star recruit, Ressler has participated in ECNL Professional Development Program Training.
